Yup I did another hosting today. It was a baby competition contest held in the west area. We have close to 180 babies in the competition. You must think "siao ahh soo many babies sure caos" Ya me too, but suprisingly it was pretty controlled.

Basically objective was to finish the race at the fastest time (sound easy right) Try talking to a 1+ year old baby and you will realise that it tougher than scoring As in O levels. Most of the babies looks pretty lost and stunned though the parents are very excited. Parents try means and ways to encourage their baby to move faster.

How did the babies react that almost stop the heart of the parents?

1 - give a dazzling smile and stay rooted to the ground

2 - instead of running to the finishing line, they make a u-turn

3 - Went instead to other babies track (imagine a olympics pool)

4 - Refuse to participate at all

5 - Stop at 3 steps before the finishing line ( most babies did that)

By the way babies toys have improved (drastically) over the years. No more cars, trains or dolls. It’s mobile phones, car keys, food.  I was pretty impressed by the parents though. Some came in a big group from grandparents to parents to aunts. But I love family games anytime.

Too bad i’ve no kids of my own else i will be the one asking my baby to run faster :)
