Hot and spicy events
Sunday, July 30th, 2006After 3 days of hosting, I realised that talking can be tiring
but then i think i’m the only host who have to talk non-stop for the whole day from 11am till 7pm. Very cheap labour. But i truly enjoy it after the end of the session i learnt something new and of course i makes some new friends!!
since it’s over, it’s no longer a secret. I was hosting at Lot 1 the shoppers mall. Everytime i say LOT 1, instead of shoppers I says shopping mall. Pai sei lah. It’s a hot and spicy theme that is being organised for the week. We have numerous activites like korean food demo, sauces demos like kee’s, chilli king challenge, hot and spicy dip contest. I have the timing in my head already!!!! So tired after a whole day of standing and talking.
What’s more, I’m a vain pot! I insist on wearing a bright red dress with heels instead of sensible t-shirt and jeans with sports shoes. So at about 5pm, my heels is hidden under the table and I’m walking around barefooted. Of course the public can’t see. Though they could see that all of a sudden i’m shorter by another 2 inch
Will I do it again? You bet! but hopefully i don’t have to talk non-stop for such long timings. This will go into my portfolio for sure. So friends out there if you need a Host, MC, DJ lah. You know who to find hor..
Oh 1 more thing - I think i swear accidentally during the event (In hokien lah) though i honestly did not know it’s a bad word till the organiser pinch me.. HAHAHAH guess practise makes perfect.
* Oh i have some pictures thus i may publish that always. But not sure if there is any copy right or not lah. Don’t think i’m going to talk a lot for the coming days. Must replenish my energy!
